San Juan College invites graduates to apply to be the student speaker for the graduation ceremony each May.
Students may apply directly and San Juan College employees may also nominate a student to be the speaker.
To apply to be the 2024 Student Speaker:
- Prepare a 1-minute video demonstrating your presentational style and message to your fellow graduates.
- Look on MySJC under Popular Links — Graduating from SJC.
- Submit your application via the online form & upload your video.
- If selected, your final speech must be 5 minutes in length.
The selected speaker will be announced in early April 2024 for the spring 2024 graduation ceremony.
Application deadline is March 25.
